That's not that hard. Just use newtons method, or the other harder method.

Or Maple. But they are overkill in most cases and the legality of the acquirement is a bit worrying.

Although after using MATLAB for 10 days I reckon it's pretty crap compare with Mathematica...

my gf did a maths course b4, that's how i know UTS has them.

but in IT building, i don't think they're installed
