Hi,
Right now im ranked 5/9 for my extension english class. Do u think its possible to boost up my rank to 1st place,
With just 10% left (trials are worth 10)?

Wow you're trials seem to be weighted relatively low

I would say that you can improve your ranks to but not to 1 / 9

It honestly depends on how well you perform in comparison to the rest of your class

(i.e. If they perform badly and you perform extremely well you will see your ranks rise or if you perform not so well in comparison to your class you will either find yourself retaining your rank or dropping it)

Either way all the best with your trial exams :D

Honestly, thats quite a stretch, you shouldn't worry too much about coming first as long as the gap between the top 5 isnt too high.

Depending on the difference between ranks...

But highly unlikely.

I highly doubt it...

But in saying that, don't let that deter you from wanting to do well.

Nah probably not. Unless the gap between you and first is very small. But you could still move up a few ranks.

Unless the relative gaps are very small, realistically probably not. But don't let that deter you from doing your best though!

It depends on how much the gaps between your position and the first person ranked first is. At the end of the day, I wouldn't say it is impossible, everything after all, is a matter of probability. I would be inclined to say if the gaps between the ranks are significant, than for you to achieve your aspirations would highly by unlikely. But it never hurts to try your best:)-you will certainly be most likely to see an improvement in your ranks.
