the commodore is just a full sized saloon so it pretty much is bigger than any other car.

Gl swapping anything more than a turbo 2l into an (na, nb) mx5 here, even then im not sure if that would meet the criteria. 13b turbos arent even street legal in mx5s because of the multiplier applied to rotaries.

Edit: At least for newer modifications, stuff modified before is probably fine. Dont know if they were ever legal though. Bullet made huge chassis changes to their roadsters (based on mx5) to fit 13bt and various v8s.

ppl usually do v8 swaps for race car mx5's or go the safe route by putting a supercharger/turbo
