no. i don't watch WRC much, but i think the red and white Peugeot 306 is one of the sexiest cars i've ever seen.

no one has been 3 out of 3 yet.

no one else going to have a go?

looks like shortygb wins it.

2. D

Ford is offering Atkinson the chance to drive the new Focus. new regulations means rally cars can't have active differential.

i wont go corvette cause they don't seem to be cruisers

picking ferrari seems to be an easy option... too easy

damnit, they're all top cars

Ferrari 550 is a strong car, but i remember the Aston coming out and winning something...and the corvette, well thats supposedly a strong car (improved over the C5)

and saleen...well, awesome cars, but i dont they'd win it

i'll go withhhhhhhhhhhh....

Yay good old dad and his constant watching of motorsport, i watched some of this with him!

I'm almost certain it was the corvette C6-R
and you would be right....your turn.

i was about to think that no one would get it.

sorry people, had work and school!

Easy question:
What is the function of the clutch system?:
a) To disengage the engine from the gear box
b) To change gears
c) To supply power to the diff
d) to cool the engine bay

Hard question (non multiple choice):
What is the role of the ring gear and where is it mounted?

Easy: B

Hard is very hard though. If I'm right then it was abit of a trick to follow a gearbox question with it. My understanding is that a ring gear is mounted in the differential and operates as part of a planettary (Not entirely sure on that bit) gear set that delivers power from the driveshaft to the axles.

i didn't really want to go for B. i would've gone for A. but i don't want to get it right. i'm out of questions and i don't know the answer to the short answer question. someone, anyone pick something. i want to know the answer to the second part.
