just finished the catholic trial paper 40 minutes ago.. in my opinion it was easier than i expected.. i thought sections 2 and 3 were quite open ended and there were no tricky text types :D

Boy oh boy...

I got hammered in the first section...(I wasn't expecting 4 texts in section 1 :( )

Section 2 was ok, I wrote about that Mountain one

and Section three I felt I went good in.

I didn't understand any of the texts in section one, Journal is a shitty text type, and I had to write on FIVE texts in the final section.

very good trial, wasnt as hard as i expected, yet it was still difficult, i spent far too long on the essay (which i did first) and too lil time on first section...paper 2 will prolly b harder

I found it demanding but do-able. I didn't like the wording of the short answer Questions.
When i first looked at questions three i was worried, but it wasn't too hard to talk about a "greater understanding".
I think i probably got about 34/45

I reckon

Section 1-->10-11
Section 2-->8-9
Section 3--->10-12

So probably high 20s all up :|

I don't think I answered question 3 properly. I just said all these quotes and linked them to journeys.
I got stuck on the contrast question too in section 1!
In section 2 I did "Are we there yet?" I did a whole booklet on that and I think I did OK.
Basically I have no idea what I wrote lol. I just hope I do well. I am not looking forward to paper 2 at all :S

I didnt know you could write about the mountain one. I though you had to use those texts it gave on the next page.

i thought it was ok.. i probably bombed out in the last question of the first section.. i dont think i expressed myself too well
my creative writing had a pretty crap story line.. but it was an ok portrayal of physical and inner journeys.. i left the ending cuz i had a block and went onto my essay then when i went back to the ending and it was still crap.. oh well
the essay was a pretty straightforward question and i just talked about the aspects of the rubric.. emphasising the one about how the journeys challenge our thinking and broaden our understanding of the world and ourselves
glad thats over

yea section 1 was by far the hardest..

estimation 8-10/15 section 1
10-13 - section 2
12-15 - section 3

30/45 estimation for me :p
