Paper 1 was good.

I think I didn't match the "young adults" bit. THe language was sophisticated most of the times, but then my themes seemed abit childish. :( (not cliche), just I didn't pack it with metaphors and stuff, more of a dialogue type prose fiction.

4 pages.

everything else was done reasonably well.

4 pages for creative and 4 for imaginative journeys.
i too didnt link that "young adult" bit. but how would u?

i think in comprehension i did ok...except for the last question worth 6 marks i had to find everything i could to get those marks. and the image of the boot sucked.

they are apparently harder than the actual HSC exams.. so you get a fairly good indication of what ur capable of achieving

Yeah i was so glad when you only had to do one extra text for question 3 cos id only prepared one. I wrote my creative writing last night and it fit almost perfectly with the quote about the hope of a journey being better than arriving.
Oh and did anyone else finish section 1 in about 10/15 minutes or was that just me?

English Paper One

Think I went a bit wrong with section one... the first question threw me and that poem was friggin' confusing!

Section Two was good.

Section three.... do they want a more broader question?!
