i was just studying now the transpiration and translocation plant stuff and i keep coming across the word cellulose can some one tell me what it is?

is it the stuff that holds up the plant??? like gives it strength??

Yep. It gives strength to the plant walls.

lignin gives strength to plant cell walls. Cellulose is the actual material that cell walls are composed of.

Cellulose are polymers (chains) of glucose...so basically a suger...and yes, they can provide support.
