It's fair for you to say that you don't think that you would accept a relationship if your partner cheated on you - it's your relationship, after all.

But judging from your posts, i seriously doubt that you understand how complex relationships can get.
Every time cheating or swinging is brought up in BOS, i always get into arguments with people who can't accept any view but their own.

There are so many reasons why people cheat, and while they might not seem like 'good' reasons in your book, it doesn't mean that no-one in the world considers them reasonable.

If you don't consider intoxication an excuse, good for you, but its fucked up to be going around saying "it's not an excuse" as if everyone's as narrow-minded as you are.

I can accept other people's views even though I don't neccessarily agree with them.
Yeah I know there are various reason's why people cheat,thought IMO there really isn't a good enough reason or excuse for me. Also I am aware that other people in the world may think there are good reason/explanations to why people cheat,even though I don't think there are.

ive cheeated twive two different guys..the second time..i would do anything to take it back bcoz im still with the guy i cheated on and i love him to bits...first time;well it lead me to new things so i dont really regret that plus im really good friends wth the guy i cheated on now so..everything worked out for me!thank god..ive learnt alot from it though

Does liking another person while you're in a relationship = cheating?

Does flirting with another person other then your gf/bf = cheating?

nope never... and i dont think i ever will... im not going to say i never will. but i know how much it hurts the person who has been cheated on and id never want to make someone feel like that... i think its a horrible thing to do to someone...
if you arent happy in the relationship you are in enough to go and get with someone else, why dont you just fucking break up with the person your with... i think they would be less hurt if you broke up with them, than if you cheated on them

i wouldn't be able to live with the guilt... i feel guilty even thinking about cheating.
i always try to put myself in people's shoes when thinking about these things, and i sure as hell wouldn't want to be on the cheatee (?) end.

after my first relationship ended, some people said that he'd cheated. years later, when i asked him about it, he didn't deny it but he didn't admit to it either... so i took that as a yes it was so long ago that i really don't give a shit, but if i'd found out then, it would've killed me.

yeah, it really sucks... its an awful thing to do to someone.
i just think how id feel if it was done to me.... i havent even thought about cheating on someone but if i did, i would just remind myself

Actually, I have been in that situation, and I have said no. Funny enough, I did exactly what I would have said I'd do before it happened.
