Those who are doing Shipwrecks, see for the long chemical formulas of rusting and the sulfate reducing bacteria, do we have to know all the steps of the chemical reactions? Or just knowing the Oxidaton, reduction and Overall chemical formula is enough? How are you memorizing it?

You should know all the steps incase they ask a question on it.

It's only a few steps, it shouldn't be too difficult to learn if you haven't already :)

You are 99plus so you should know this lol

For sulfate reducing bacteria, you only need 1 equation

SO4 (2-) (aq) + 10H+ (aq) + 8 electrons --> 4 waters + H2S (aq) (theres one that produces hydroxide ions...but my teacher said dw about it)

To remember this, just remember coefficients, and say this phrase in your head: "ten, eight, 4 waters"

Just know the redox ones. Lol.
