- I know for UNSW you only get one degree for 4 years but I heard this course is better here.
- For USYD, I get two degrees for 5 years.

In terms of travel, I don't mind so I really don't know which course to choose.

If you want to become a qualified/registered architect, you will need to complete a Masters. If you want to become an architect, why not do the 3+2 Architecture at USYD.

Is there any real benefit combining with architecture (for you)? Interest? Does it outweigh the cost of an extra year? etc.

Also, at UNSW, it's one degree because it's the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) + you do Architecture electives. So if you want a taste of architecture, then this might seem more appropriate.

If you want to spend more than a few electives on Architecture (essentially another year), then USYD seems appropriate.
