Did anyone else here make it into the National Art School Intensive Studio Practice?

I got it into Painting. Woohoo!

i had a good time, u make friends and stuff, its a lot of fun
i did the drawing classes..
its 100% life drawing..
i think you do mainly gestures but you get to draw a range of models i guess, it helps a lot if you want to figurative art for the hsc.

congrats! i did printmaking- excellent fun ----and it's great to be around so many other people who are into art, lol, i suspect a heap of them will get into art express and can't wait to see everyones works.

yeah its a great experience.... i did the theory course and it literally brought me to my #1 rank in art that i've got now. really really beneficial. and you meet really cool people too

I did life drawing last year, yeah it was fun.. in that treacherously exhausting but decidedly educational kind of way. Or maybe that was just my course. A good experience because its not like your school will provide you with nude models. And its just some congregation of art nerds in a former prison, neat huh?

i wasnt much of a fan of my teacher but yeah, i forgot to mention that its awesome u dont have to pay for materials or anything

omg... that was such a frustrating experience... i did the life drawing course for 2005 and it was rough!... i dont think my tutor really liked me though cause i wouldn't change my style.... i did try but it always ended up the same. anyways... at least i got one unit down before the hsc even started... i was happy with it in the end

Man, i have never heard of this until now....I now wish i had gone, i have never had the chance to work with real models.

i would have also enjoyed the theory.

I enjoy art theory, just the HSC gets so repetitive...

yeah i went to that NAS thing last (sep 05 hols) n got a letter askin me if im going back.....i did sculpture and my teacher was the funniest bloke i've ever met. he likes tea alot. every 10 mins = tea break. Yeah so is anyone going back?
