Hey, just wondering what do you need to do to get internet in your room when you're living on campus @ UNE (Mary White to be specific) with your own computer?

In the enrolment form for Mary White it had something to do with it, but i didnt have my computer @ the time to do that step... :$

I believe the rooms come with a connection for Ethernet cables - at least, they do at Duval - but you also need to provide your computer's address to the Information Technology Directorate. If you haven't done this (and I haven't done it either as I got a new computer so the address is different), you should be able to talk to your Senior Resident Fellow (might be known by a slightly different name); if he (or she) is anything like ours, they'll know computers and should be able to set you up. As a last resort you can always visit the ITD Help Desk and make enquiries, but I've never actually been there myself (I've been in the ITD twice in the past two years).
