Computer Programs for Study (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I'm sure someone has asked this at one point or another but time may have changed and more is available...

Are there any good computer programs for putting in your study notes along with good diagrams etc. Essentially a program with a lay out that makes a lot of work seem much more organised. Microsoft Word always leaves me with enough notes to drown me.

LaTeX? It was a bit complicated at first, but an hour later, it's pretty simple.

I've tried using iBooks Author and my notes have turned out alright, but of course, that's only applicable if you have a Mac and an iPad.
