Sorry to digress people, but it seems everybody was given an internal mark for their B.o.w., is this a compulsory thing or is it optional??

i'm pretty sure it's part of the internal marking criteria

for some schools only. others - and more appropriately, i might add - mark solely on Process not Product since the Product is to be marked by the BOS markers not the art teachers

yeah, we did a h.s.c simulation where four art teachers marked the works and then they gave us an average... but we were marked purely on what he had finished and they weren't to take into consideration what it was going to be.. eg. i did photography and the photos weren’t mounted, just loose so i didn’t get marked for presentation... a mark on process would have been better... we wouldn't have done a rushed finish in an attempt to get them done for a higher mark…

Our works got sent back and were throw into the storage room. I snuck in and looked and mine wasn't there. Either it got lost, stolen, hidden under a trap door, OR, I GOT NOMINATED?

Most likely. Some situations they send back some components of your BOW but keep the most striking pieces. But if all of your BOW was sent back, then chances aren't very good...
