This has been happening for a while and the cops have done nothing. I think it's about time vigilante justice was given a chance. If they don't want people to take revenge themsevles then they should have done something about it when it first started.

Vigilantism isn't the answer. It is violence that is unacceptable. The whole idea of the state imposing punishment is to ensure that it is fair and impartial which is why courts allocate it.

The police are doing what they can but police can only deal with the symptoms of this problem. The problem is not criminal, it is social. It has led to criminal conduct which police become involved. The State Government should really do something about it, rather than threatening each side with criminal sanctions. Obviously there is a problem here of racial vilification.

Comes back to my belief, you can never promote a harmanious society where you promote and encourage difference to the point of conflict.
