Real disappointed with 67% it was hard but our option was replaced and was hard. It was my worst exam for sure!

I wrote '6', as that seemed the most plausible; but I also wrote a note to the marker, "How much does an oyster weigh?" for it's impossible to determine the answer with the (insufficient) data given.

You should get full marks for that question – it was supremely dodgy.

i got 70%, ranked 3rd. Our teacher marked from his own criteria, not the CSSA marking scheme meaning it was marked much much harder. I myself dont mind, aslong as the whole class was marked the same, inwhich they were.

Does anyone know what a raw mark of 70 in the CSSA trial would give me on the hsc. Im hoping for a band 5 :)

i didnt have the common sense to make up the name of an australian scientist, and i didn't know one.

i guess i'm just too honest :p
Haha, I read the question wrong!! I didn't realise it was an Aussie one... i just wrote about another random scientist... so i got no marks for that question :(

I got 80% tho :) I was heaps pleased, coz i thought chem would be my worst mark but it wasn't :) Yay!!

our school cut the oyster qu out, so the exam's now out of 99. as far as i know i got the highest mark (but that could certainly change and its not definite at all) - 83/99 which is 84%.

In terms of the oyster question, my chem teacher said that it was impossible to actually determine it because we werent given the average mass of oysters (which she said was around 10g).

so far on 92%, but should go up tomorrow...

i got:

15/15 for mc (teacher added a mark for every1 for that oyster question),
57/60 for the middle
20/25 for option, but she marked really dodgy, gotta go see her about it tomorrow.

I got 93% but am yet to flick through the paper to see if there are any errors- our teacher is an absolute b***h when it comes to marking so I'm sure its going to take a fair bit of "discussion" to get some extra marks.

well in my half yearly... i got a shocking mark of... do I dare say it....?

53%....and i was ranked last because of it...

however for the CSSA paper.. i ended up with 70%... which now puts me in 2nd ...

I'm only second by 0.55 of a mark...

my mark wasn't all too flashy... lol .. but for the first time i actually made stupid mistakes in Chem.. lol my mistakes usually occur simply because i don't know the answer

nywas.. without the silly errors.. probably would've got an 80% easily...

i totally stuffed up in multiple choice.... 9/15.... grrrrrrrrrrrr

oh well...My mark may not be so good... but i'm extremely happy with my rank

by the way... well done!!!...I'm sure u guys deserved every single mark u got in that exam... keep it up.. and hopefully.. u'll be in someones signature next yr... lol *pts. to signature*

oh and by the way.. when i said i was ranked last... i was 4/4... lol. now i'm 2/4....

I heard the Pope is considering abdicating over it.
