How does that mean you pay more? Sure the figure that you will pay is more but the value of the dollar would have decreased. It is exactly as you said, adjusted for inflation.

Actually at UOW there are enrolment fees.....$421 all up.

Its $327 every year after that

Sometimes, people's wages dont adjust to inflation that rapidly - so end up paying more. Prices may increase, but your wage remains the same

yea minais right.....its not like everyones wages just go up or down according to inflation instantaneously......eg..saftey net wage case hearings for AWARD workers only happen like once or twice a year.....

I really shouldn't be arguing with someone who studies Economics/Commerce at University but I am quite sure that wages are adjusted for inflation. Maybe what you are saying is that wages do not consistently rise with inflation but are increased in one go each year?
