I understand that g-forces is defined as apparent weight/normal weight, but how do you define it in words?

And how is it minimised in launch and re-entry? What effect does the minimisation have on the g-forces?

G-forces are minimised through re entry in the descent module's by entering Earth's atmosphere at aft-end first to reduce g-forces
