hey just wondering how would you calculate the depreciating value of textbooks if you were to buy them second hand/

Anywhere from 40 - 70% of the original price is common.

SRC 2nd hand bookshop at the wentworth building said will buy current textbooks at 40% of new price, and will resell usually at 70%.
I bought my 1st yr Chem and Biol texts there on Wed 27 jan

depends on the textbook itself
i.e. if its a good text book it will probably be about 30-50% off
if its crap, 50%+ off

also how many of the same books around for second hand might alter the prices
