Well, I have been getting some info while reading the scaling reports from various years. And I am getting some extra info from this website too. I may not be the best when it comes to scaling system and other things that UAC & BOS do but I certainly know something that might be of some use to others. And I am quite sure.

So you got 92 in German Continuers in HSC? Or are you talking about School? School doesn't really give aligned mark unless the marks were extraordinarily high or low across the form. What you probably got are your raws.

dude i got 88% raw scool assesment mark. i got 90% scaled scool assesment mark and 94% hsx exam mark...so my final mark was 92! thats called the allined mark isnt it? i got 92 final mark

So you already did your HSC for German, right?

Then what about your school rank you just posted up (in the OP statement)?

yeh i did it last year...that was my rank from last year...figured it wudnt matter if i specified it or not.

Yeah, then you would get 92 for your HSC this year for German Continuers. To be honets 92 in German Continuers is actually quite low in terms of scaled marks. I guess you will need to lift your marks in other subjects to make up for that. Good luck .

Um...I got first in all my subjects: Math ext 2, Math ext 1, Adv Eng, Physics and Mod History. So how exactly does the scaling go, cause i always thought it was the internal marks which were scaled, not so much your rank.

I am not sure you can get into that 99+ stage. It really depends on your result in HSC.

Ranked 8th/80 students
i have no idea what i'll get but hopefully around 85ish

but i already got accepted into B. of Design which requires a 94 UAI
so im happy either way
