guys u can't get it yet.. even tho if you fill in the form and everything.
i went in today (to get my student ID) and they said no diaries until O week. !

well of course they don't give out diaries till o-week! why'd u try to get one bfore that? :p

Just wondering whether the confirmation email is necessary to get the diary...

I registered but somehow the stupid email didnt come yet!

another annoying thing about technology! :chainsaw:

You need to print out something and bring it to the e-spot to get your diary. That's what the email is for.

yeh....you write your parties social events in there.

You don't have to get your parents to sign it every week :p











...oh and you can write your homework in there too if you like.

But you see, in uni you actually want to write your work in.

Theres no one to remind you when things are due or when things are on.

You get penalised. How this works varies from between schools and assignments.

CSE for example usually deducts your maximum possible mark by 10% per day - even if you are one second late (you submitted the assignment 12:00:01), its considered one day late. This reduces your highest possible mark to 90%.

Yeh but thats just with CSE, because assignments (programs) are submitted online - usually the deadline is midnight.

Depends what the assignments are - written ones are USUALLY due about 5pm on the due date in SOME box at some faculty office. They COULD be due at 8:45am. Listen to due dates :)

bah, i'll just try to remember everything in my head, or rely on my fwnds to remind me. :D
