do a couple of band 6's guarantee a 90+ atar? (1 Viewer)

My subject combo:

is that atar calculator pretty good/accurate-ish for as accurate as they can be? i remember putting in my prospective marks with like 2-3 band 6's and it said i would get a flat 80

You can get 90+ ATAR with only 1 B6 or even no B6's, but you need to do relatively well in your other subjects. You can't just get 1 B6 and 60s in your other subjects and expect a 90 ATAR. Those who achieved 90+ ATAR with 1 or no B6's would most likely have done medium to good scaling subjects and achieved around 83+ in those subjects.

It's accurate for 2010. While I was doing HSC it was accurate for 2009.
So next year if I put in my marks they should come out right, but now it says this:


But that's a point wrong.
When I put my results in the night before ATARs came out it said I got ~96.2. :(
