There have been threads asking the same question before.. and for some reason no one was ever behind but rather infront...

well were currently only up to the beginning of motors and generators.... and well it's term 2 now... (almost)... and we still have two modules after that...

anyone else in a similar boat... because if u r i think the boat has holes in it.... and soon we may find oursleves in deep water...

do u think i should just study the course on my own?.. because my teacher is extremely slow.. it almost took us 1.5 terms to complete the first module.. if not more...

something similar happened in yr 11... and we ended up doing the space module on our own...(preliminary space)... a whole heap of reading that was!

yeah wat velox said

Physics is easy to read ahead in the only thing u would need to ask your teacher about is applications of the formulae

So in 2 terms you've only done one topic? I shouldnt really talk as by the end of the first term we had only half done the space topic, but the teacher left it up to us to learn the second half during christmas break. However we still managed to finish the entire course in 2 terms and a few weeks somehow.

At my school we have finsihed space, but we are going to go back and revise relativity. We have done the first two dot points on motors. I dont think we are behind, although my teacher sometimes tells us to summarise the easy dot points at home, and space was the hardest module, so we will zoom thorough the rest.

yes... so i should be worried..
U guys are lucky , i'm pritty sure we wont have time to revise in school... and we'll probably be tested on the first 3 modules in our trials...

I think (as some of u guys have suggested) it's best that i study ahead... I think i may even finish motors and generators this holiday... it doesn't look that big.. and it doesn't look too hard either...

I'm not too worried about our option (medical physics)... that's going to be really interesting... I'm glad our teacher decided to choose it.. Id probably study that too.. maybe if i have time.. I'll read the module from our text book...

It's just stressful when ur having to worry about finishing the course... and ontop u have all these accumulating assessment tasks....

but hopefully all will go well.. and thanks guys for ur help... i appreciate it...
If i do have any problems.. I'll post them up on BOS and hope that u guys will kindly help out...

I would be sort of worried if I were you, maybe you are doing them in too much detail! We are doing a topic a term, so we are about to start Motors and Generators this term (in less than a week, the holidays fly past!) We've done SPace last year, and Ideas to Implementation in term 1.
If you are way too far behind, just read ahead and then do it yourself, but I suppose thats harder than it seems...

yeah, you guys are a bit behind. it's probably a good idea to read ahead and also get a [private] tutor to help you

ahh... I can't stand being tutored, my brain just switches off, i preffer to spend hours understanding a concept on my own.. rather than get a tutour, pay money, and come out dumber than before...by understanding it on my own it really sinks in.. and never leaves... well that's me anyways... although a tutor is always good for questions... but then again that's what my teachers for...

I don't think you have to stress out too much, space was a pretty big topic in comparison to motors and generators, like you are behind.. but we only took a month to do m&g and we took like a term and a half to do space as well. Granted its made me fall heaps behind cos we rushed, but you can catct up -that's what im trying to say.
