Just keep 2u maths and bear with it. You'll regret if you drop down to general. Plus, general maths is more like an English exam instead of a 'maths exam'.

talk to your Teacher. he probably has a fair idea about your potential and ability.
Also he has probably taught students like you and may have some ideas about what you can do.
