I'm in advanced for both, and planning to drop next term after this test. How does this affect my atar? Do the tests still count? and how does it stack up with standard results?

Aligning for English Standard is a lot worse than for Advanced English. It is a similar difficulty so I would suggest that you at least stick with English Advanced.

It will depend on the school, how they deal with people dropping, and how it impacts on rank calculation.

Yeah you should stay with Advanced English, as for maths that’s your choice if you think you need to drop then go for it

DO NOT drop to Standard English. It’s just as hard and a 91/100 is usually state rank while also aligning terribly.
