If you guys look closely enough at the syllabus it also doesnt state that you will be required to know comparative or absolute advantage.

I am using the Leading Edge book and I really trust my teachers judgement, hes a head marker of economics at the BoS and does work for their syllabuses and stuff and he reckons this one is better.
By the way I went to a lecture day with Reilly and Dixon and both do seem to know their stuff really well but I dunno, DIxon seems to be better at explaining.

yes yes, i went, so did Alex

how useful it was depended on how much u knew/have been taught already

I already knew most of wat was taught, but some areas i was a bit shaky on, and the notes kinda explain things that the text books are weak on...also probably the most important stuff was the Gittins articles and essays. He explains the current situation in regard to the economic issues, with the major issue being the government's disregard for using fiscal policy to achieve external balance - ie the govt doesnt care about CAD anymore

if i get time, ill scan the notes, but u see its well over 100 pages...
