Am I allowed to choose any commerce courses 1st year?

Or should I just wait till my 2nd year and do the compulsory core courses?

I've been told that we don't need to do ECON1203 as it overlaps with MATH1141.

Your "MATH" courses will cover the content in ECON1203, so you don't need to take it.

Yeah just follow the UNSW handbook link above, you can take the courses whenever you want in theory, but it's best just to follow the guide
