thanks for the info but i was really just trying to make a point that no one really know about the whole scaling process and we cant really take for granted that everyone whos teacher is a hsc marker is telling the truth about alignment stuffs so we should just move on from people speculating about how a subject is scaled before results come out and just enjoy schoolies)This is not true. They only mark the papers AFTER the wholes hsc block is complete (because they need to get all he papers to one location for them to mark it.
Source: One of our chemistry teachers (who was a hsc marker) told us right before paper 1. Also keep in mind their people all over nsw and even overseas that do the hsc and for them to scan the papers for it to be mark is going to take a lot longer (btw, they mark it online as said by many more teachers at my school)
