yeah I think it’s better if u stick to 2 and 3 max because it’s critical study u need to go in depth but it’s fine u can still dominate hsc

Hmm. I feel like the opposite is true though. Since it’s all about the “wholeness” and textual integrity of the text. I did the 5 poems but wrote like they were part of one big whole. I got 19/20 in trials and the teacher said it was good. But idk though, I can’t change it now and then memorise it in time. I’m just keeping it as is.

but u have to be careful to balance it cause, like other people are saying, it can get too overwhelming for markers. And also I write fast so it’s like 1200 words + links to question.

I mean yeah it’s fine if you can write that much in the exam assuming you’re doing ~200 per poem but yeah I just stuck to 2, 300 each

they would use an extract from your prescribed poems, as long as you have an analysis for every poem u should be fine
