ur physics teacher sucks if shes just giving retarded assignments instead of exams. teachers only have to give one assignment for science then rest can be formal examinations

this reminds me of an assessment we did in year 9 where we had to make a visual representation of our Shakespeare play and we had to make it under timed conditions, in class. But at the same time kids can still cheat by memorising what they want to write from ai and then copying down in class the next day

yeah I get how it's compulsory but why are we the only country that has an English syllabus like ours. Literally other countries like Singapore for example, just do comprehension and they write essays about random topics that don't require critical thinking and analysis. And literally they are fine and in some ways doing better than us. I feel like they just need to make the subject more enjoyable and less about cramming as much info as u can in 40mins. They just need to teach all this stuff in a much more tolerable way. Cause honestly eng isn't even that bad. It's just the fact that I suck and they make the subject so annoying it pmo

as someone who has a mother that LITERALLY FIXES the syllabus for other countries, i can confirm that they actually are trying to do that

well my common mod are just poems so ive read those already, im now reading mod b (im up to chapter 9 from 20 chapters) and mod a is a shakeseaprean play that im not bothered doing (ill do it in summer holidays)

It's only beneficial to ARTS and LAW and MED students. In a field like engineering, you're defintely not dealing with emotions or behavior of humans.

dealing with emotions or behaviour has NOTHING to do w any field of study, its about us as humans being able to communicate efficiently and understand our world
- To Kill A Mockingbird revolves around scout aiming to understand the cruel world of Alabama
- 1984 underscores the abuse of power
- Othello talks about manipulation to the extent of death and misogyny
- Great Expectations reveals the obsession with social class as respect is only given to those of high social class rather than 'actual humans'

texts dont help w a specific field of study, it just underlines the universal idea of being a human (as i mentioned above)
