Not that itll definitely be the subject that pulls me down, I'm sure many would agree that English is the most stressful subject for examination. If it weren't for English, heck, I might even enjoy this HSC :D

Oh well, lucky its teh first 2 exams, after which, no more hallucination-inducing stress :)

modern history ruins the hsc and all other content rather than concept based subjects

the fact that english has to count towards your uai is definitely unfair to those who are much better at other subjects. it definitely advantages those who are good at english

i liked english and didnt mind it countig towards my uai but i think its crap that it HAS to

area of study is ok, it's just the prospect of writing 3 essays in 120 minutes on 3 different modules that really scares me :)

If you couldn't do English properly then you wouldn't be able to do the HSC anyway...
That's true but i'm just saying
for people like me, I CAN do english "properly" i.e. reasonably well, but it just requires so much effort and stress compared to other subjects. Every exam period i've had (half yearlies, trials) it's been like this: Study time: 50% allocated to English. 2 of the 3 weeks of stuvac were pure english for me. I hate English cos it's such a waste of effort. If it werent for English the HSC would be so much easier and enjoyable.

Ancient History is the spawn of evil and ruins not only the HSC, but life.

English is alright, though it seems to be the most stressful exam.

TD is aparantly stressfull too.

I think all subjects with too much content, ie. modern history can make anyone have a nervous breakdown.
