I go to UWS.
Don't worry, in my first year, enrolment stuffed me up too. Make sure you have your Student ID and Password handy, if you don't have it yet, call them up to help you with your enrolment. My instructions can only help you if you have those two very important things! (Also, I'm a Business student, so am hoping that this is the same way to enrol for your units).

Please note also that UWS doesn't generate your timetable. So be prepared to open excel and fill in your own.

If you haven't figured out enrolment yet, try this: http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/course.aspx?course=3562.6 < That link is for Campbelltown
http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/course.aspx?course=3562.6 < Hawkesbury
http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/course.aspx?course=3562.6 < Parramatta
Choose a key program from the options. That should tell you what you need to enrol in.

When you've got the unit numbers e.g. 200264.3 Biometry, log in to www.myuws.uws.edu.au with your student ID and password. You'll see a list of links on your left, with MyStudentRecords (MySR) as the first option. Click it!

Use your same details to log in.

On your left under 'course details', click Enrolment.
Now scroll down and click Unit Selection.

Now go back to the link of the handbook I sent you, make sure you have the right campus. Make sure you've got the right key program as well. I think the most study load that a student can take on is 4 units a week. So choose the four units in order.

Example:
Assuming you are doing Bach of Adv. Science at Campbelltown
http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/course.aspx?course=3562.6
Key program is Chemistry: http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/unitset.aspx?unitset=KT3091.1

You'll see under Year 1:
Year 1
Autumn session
300800.1 Essential Chemistry 1
300811.1 Scientific Literacy
300828.1 Physics 1
Choose one unit from the list below:
300802.1 Biodiversity
300822.1 Introduction to Earth Science
300931.1 Integrated Science
300831.1 Quantitative Thinking
200263.4 Biometry
200025.2 Discrete Mathematics
300580.2 Programming Fundamentals
300134.2 Introduction to Information Technology

Autumn session means this semester (Feb-June)

Your compulsory units are:
300800.1 Essential Chemistry 1
300811.1 Scientific Literacy
300828.1 Physics 1
And you have an option to choose one more from the list.

To enrol, go back to that MySR page in unit selection and scroll down. Under unit code, with a red *, to enrol for essential chem, type in the first 6 digits and hit 'get units'. That is, 300800.

Repeat for the other 2 compulsory units and the extra unit you chose.

FIGURING OUT THE TIME OF YOUR CLASSES
Say you wanted to know when your Essential chem class was at Campbelltown.

Just going back to that page where you got the unit numbers to enrol, ie. http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/unitset.aspx?unitset=KT3091.1

click the unit number for Essential Chemistry 1.
It should take you here: http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/unit.aspx?unit=300800.1

If you scroll down a bit, you will see 'teaching periods'. Under this, look for Campbelltown campus and click 'timetable' on the side.

You should get here:
http://platformweb.uws.edu.au/pweb_...&p=AU &qsubcode=300800&frompg=search

I hope my instructions were clear, good luck with your enrolment!
