Everyone says UTS is more practical, and it's so much more convenient.. but then, that's where everybody goes >_>

UNSW has a pretty tight part-time structure - even for night time classes. I keep thinking that I am going to be giving up the flexibility that UTS offers for the prestige of UNSW. In the end, I might just go with UTS - its so close to EY too...
personally I think choosing at University on prestige is one of the studpier things you could do, it is like choosing a book by its cover. Go for the Uni which is going to suit your lifestyle and requirements best...and I dont think looking good is a requirement. lol.

It might matter if you don't complete CA... and it might be more recognised overseas. There's alot of reason for picking a uni based on prestige I think. On the other hand though, I'm interested in UNSW for a different reason.

I think all of the Accounting subjects, and the CA required Business Law subjects at UNSW have 6pm night streams. In first year there are up to 4 different lecture streams for core subjects

it is not compulsory by any means, if anything EY would most likely rather that everyone only did a single degree. It is just that a law degree can be useful in the taxation area, hence EY will allow a cadet to do the double if they really want to.

How much do you get paid as a first year graduate at EY.
My total remuneration is about $41,000 initially as a graduate

Haha how open^^ Can I ask what division you are in Minai? (as in Audit/Tax/etc..) From what I've seen with cadets- they offer more financial reward/remuneration than the other firms.

It'll change by the time our generation reaches cadets... I remember in my sister's time- cadets got paid $18k.
