Evaluate basically means find a float-point answer, however, in some cases, such as when one of the terminals is a pronumeral itself, you may well not get a float-point.

i'm sorry, but if the question says evaluate the integral, doesnt it just mean solve it, except u dont really "solve" integrals, u evaluate them between certain limits, i dont think any explination is required, at all

I don't really get it.
But thanks anyway :)
I think I have a somewhat better understanding of the key word evaluate now.
Thanks.

You don't understand? Would you like me to expand and simplify for you?

hmmm i suggest describing the outcomes and explaining the analysis and the application of the appreciation whereby one asses and calculates the clarification of the comparination and the construction contrasting the critically deducing definition which demonstrates and describes the discussion that distinctly distinguishes the evaluation and examiniation of the extraction which extrapolates the identification and interpretation of the investigation that justifies the outlining prediction that proposes the fact that when you recall, you recommend and recount the summarisation of the synthesis of this fucking bullshit which i managed to pull out of my ass
.

yeah thanks for wasting 5 minutse of my life at 3:57am

OK. Applying my own special variation of the commutative rule of addition to multiplication:

"Evaluate basically means find a float-point answer, however, in some cases, such as when one of the terminals is a pronumeral itself, you may well not get a float-point."

Turns into:

e+v+a+l+u+a+t+e+b+a+s+i+c+a+l+l+y+m+e+a+n+s+f+i+n+d+a+f+l+o+a+t-p-o-i-n-t+a+n+s+w+e+r+h+o+w+e+v+e+r+i+n+s+o+m+e+c+a+s+e+s+s+u+c+h+a+s+w+h+e+n+o+n+e+o+f+t+h+e+t+e+r+m+i+n+a+l+s+i+s+a+p+r+o+n+u+m+e+r+a+l+i+t+s+e+l+f+y+o+u+m+a+y+w+e+l+l+n+o+t+g+e+t+a+f+l+o+a+t-p-o-i-n-t

I'll leave collecting terms as an exercise to the student.

Nobody likes Calvin better than Hobbes. Except maybe blind people. You must have really bad teeth.
