Examinations Results Information

Semester 2, 2006 Examination Results (marks and grades) will be available on MyUni progressively from 20 November.
Results will NOT be published on central noticeboards, nor will any examination results be given over the telephone.

Official result notices will be mailed to students in mid-December. These notices are mailed to your correspondence address. If you have had an amendment made to your results, you will be sent a replacement notice within one week.

It is essential to keep the University informed of any change of address. This may be done through MyUni, or at the Student Centre on Level 1 of the Carslaw Building, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

For 5 semesters I checked my results every day before they came out. This semester I reckon I'll wait until the mail. Ugh.

Im hoping to hang on to a HD in sociology...all my other marks I don't care about, although it would be nice to bing my average up above 75 overall.

I predict:

LAWS1010 Torts - high credit/borderline distinction (worst. unit. ever.)
ENGL1005 Language and Image - HD seems certain
HSTY1044 Twentieth Century Politics & Culture - high regular distinction/low HD
PHIL1010 - Society, Knowledge & Reason - high credit/low distinction

Not quite as good as semester 1, but I'll live.

maybe, maybe..

ecop1003 international economy and finance: pass/credit. The entire unit of study was a huge waste of time, with a ridiculously stupid exam.
ecmt1020, business and economic statistics b: credit at least. if i studied more this semester it would have been distinction.
econ1002, introductory macroeconomics: maybe distinction.
govt1202, world politics: i already know that i only got a credit :( . if there was no final exam it would be HD.

MATH3969 Should manage a high credit or distinction.
MATH3964 Probably credit.
MATH2968 Bare pass, supposing it scales up. :/

Prediction:

BIOL1003--Credit
CHEM1612--a really low Credit that I just don't think (yet) is bad enough to reasonably predict a high Pass for
PHAR1616--high Pass/low Credit
PHAR1617--Credit/Distinction

I'm hoping to drag my average up to 70--missed out by like 0.75 last semester :(

Hmmm, on MyUni it says there that Student Admin is down. Probably means that exam results won't be displayed, if anything, for the next few days. Ah well. At least it will stop my compulsive checking (though I do admit I'm getting better this semester--twice so far today instead of every hour last semester).

Oh, so that was the catch. Isn't it so convenient that the system happens to go down when they were going to start releasing results. :p

Predictions...

ENGL 1015... Distinction/High Distinction
EDUF 1019... High Distinction seems to be in the bag. Hooray! :)
HSTY 1031... I have no clue. Maybe a low Distinction or a high Credit.
ANHS 1004... Oh dear. I have a feeling I'm barely gonna pass.

Is that a prediction or a result.
Wouldn't be surprised if that was the result as Gil Meroms courses had final exams in the last week of semester so theres been plenty a time to get results to admin for submission.

Predictions:
AERO3560 - Flight Mechanics 1 - 81
MTRX2700 - Mechatronics 2 - 77
PHYS3960 - Quantum Physics (Advanced) - 84
MATH3974 - Lagrangian & Hamiltonian Dynamics (Advanced) - 91
AERO2705 - Space Engineering 1 - 80

Even if these marks are not correct, I still make the following prediction about marks distribution:
4D's, 1HD

Let's see how close we are.
