well anyway, if you're worried about falling asleep in lectures, just make sure you have good friends beside you who find it to be a wonderful idea to say "boo!" to you as you doze off to sleep

If I don't fall asleep, I just sit there and day dream or talk. Luckily my subjects this semester require continuous work done. I just learn everything before exams/tests etc

same! its crossed my mind more than once that i might possibly have ADD. i can never concentrate on what is said in class and it doesnt come from a lack of trying. i learn more from reading a textbook in an hour then listening to the teacher for a week :S

ahha i have the exact same problem. i sleep in the front rows right in front of the lecturer (who btw is also my tute). lunch is also a factor that causes my sleepiness, but also some of the lecturers voices... u know, the ones that dunt annunciate their words... grrrrr

bubble gum eh.... im just afraid that i might choke on it if i fall asleep..

hmm; I dont go to many lectures any more.

Every week i skip:

3, 1 hour physics lectures
3, 1 hour materials lectures
1, 1 hour materials tutorial
1, 2 hour ENGG1000 Lab
2, 1 hour ENGG lectures

As you can see i skip on average 11 hours of classess out of around 16 per week.
I basically only go to maths.

I only go to maths lectures and maths tutes

I can't keep awake in my maths 1131 lectures no matter what I do, so i sometimes skip them, if I have something more important to do.

Maths 1081 is worse, because it's actually difficult, yet our current lecturer puts me to sleep in 2 mins =/
