I got 96.65... my dad was on the net when I got it and said "so hard work pays off", my mum msged me congrats and my teachers are ecstatic. Except now annoyingly my mum and her partner think I should be doing a course with a higher UAI. They said I should do medicine somewhere... which I tried to point out would have required me to do maths... agh...
But Mainly good reception. Wasn't expecting that high.

my grandma actually rang every living soul in the world. If you haven't received a call yet then expect one very soon.

The fruit shop owner in a random suburb now knows my UAI.

My family are really proud and totally chuffed, as am I. worked out to be a great day actually. we bought so many copies of the newspaper lol

My UAI: 41.90 (not great at all, I cried)
My mum's reaction: You stupid idiot you failed, what the hell is wrong with you, you bitch.
My reaction: Thanks... *Tears begin to flow*
Boyfriend: It's ok sweetie, you'll find other ways of getting to uni, I'm proud of you for trying.
Boyfriend's mum: I'm here if you need to talk about anything, I feel bad for you but well done for having a go.

I really hate my mum...

Don't listen to your mum
Your boyfriend and his mum are right
At least you went out there and did it
And now you can proudly say you completed the HSC...better then some people
And of course there are always ways are getting into Uni, if not straight away theres always TAFE and mature-age entry
Congrats on completing the HSC and best of luck for the future

My Dad was just like 'oh that's not bad at all considering you were saying the other night that you thought you mightn't get one above 45.'
and Mum was like 'After hearing your results I expected that it might have been a few points higher than that, but not bad, hmmm.'

ummmm, I was sleeping and my mum woke me up at fucking whenever it was when the results came out, I think 8:50. I couldn't be fucked getting up and checking the result. For the amount of work I did throughout the year I was expecting 60-70. SO anyway, I was lucky to get on the site straight away, typed in my number, saw that i got 90.55

me: got 90.55
mum: how much ?????
me:90.55, cya(went back to bed)

really shocked with this UAI, wtf to do with it now ^^

Lol. There's always next year. It's important to remember that no matter how low your uai may be, it will not prevent you from having the opportunity to repeat the HSC. I know repeating is out of the question for some, but it's an option.
