In response to coach Ernest's comments, Coach Matthew, however, did reveal that "the game is not played on paper and that unlike your team, matt#1 managed to defeat premiership contenders 'Retards'". Meanwhile, the The match of the round proved to be a complete anticlimax as Timbk2 steamrolled former leader and league favourites betterthanyouse. Coach Earnest dodged several questions about pretenders, complacency, humble pies and other cliches by some fancy footwork up the tunnel while Coach Tim ecstactically celebrated cutting the gap to the 1st place to just 2 points.

Bangalore Times:

After a tough few rounds Copious is back in the winners circle with a convincing 59 - 40 win over Team Bluefire and consequently leaping over him to enter 5th place. The potential of a thrashing was there, but captaincy changes due to poor form have been a distraction within the squad.

This week brings a whole new dimension into the season. With 3 teams with the bye and state of origin duty mandatory, squads will find it hard to field a competitive full squad. One things for sure though, the battle of 5th vs 3rd this week will be a highlight.

Timbk2 United is ready to do battle with the underperforming Copius. United manager, Tim Cheng is tipped to retain the same sqauad that pummeled Rub!x last weekend, while Copious will be hoping to bounce back after a painful defeat in a high scoring affair with matt#1. With no players missing through injury or representative duties, all of Timbk2 United's stars will again be on hand to ensure they remain at the top of the table for another week. The return of Andrew John's (injury) and Monty Betham (suspension) has proved timely, however, Cheng is still undecided on whether they will be included on the 4 man bench.
