I used to think Pell was an idiot, and then I started watching some videos of Jensen.

I''ve looked over the list, and the cost just keeps going up. Would like to go, but it's looking expensive ATM.

I'm so disapointed. I'd love to go to this festival but I live in Perth Western Australia. Including accomodation it would be like at least $500.

Which is sad, cos i like Yoddle, Nolan, Humandichotomy, loquasagacious.

Edit: Freedom too. Yoddle and Humandichotomy are homosexual, yes?
That's no excuse! I live in Tazmazia and I'm still going. Couchsurfing saves on the mulah. Ha yes I am homo, but dunno about HumanDiColostomyBag, maybe they're a girl?

Either Bond, UTS, USYD or UniAdelaide

The middle two are if I start putting any effort into school.

Because they don't have any sort of journalism program at all. Not even postgrad or an Arts major.

What are you planning on studying?

Hey so what seminars is everyone going to?

We bookes yesterday:

No Human Cure Justifies Animal Experimentation
Freedom: The Most Dangerous Idea of All
the Dead Aid one
and Make All Drug Use Legal.

I'll be wearing a bright pink shirt that says "yoddle" on it.

A great event, all things considered

Went to:
Religion Poisons Everything
Freedom: The Most Dangerous Idea of All
Does Online Networking Harm Kids' Brains?
The Arts Don't Deserve A Place In This Festival
Make All Drug Use Legal

Highlights:
Germaine Greer. Easily the most engaging and thought-provoking of the speakers we saw.
Hitchens reciting boozed philosophers (and being generally awesome).
Soapbox winner- A woman in her 60's arguing for the right to die on her own terms.
Drugs- got to ask Dr Wodak a question about drug supply legalisation and got a detailed response.
The middle cunt at the arts one was a moron. Julian Morrow was interesting though.

All up the weekend ended up costing me over $500.

So unbelievably worth it, though.

Germaine, she sends my heart all a-flutter <3

I remember you! I remember you!
I found the drugs one interesting from a very economical point of view, and I thought the last guy was good and passionate, but i didn't find it overly inspiring on the whole.

Germaine and the Dead Aid woman were my favourites. I was actually very impressed with the latter.
Did anyone else get annoyed with that British woman who asked long winded, self-serving questions at Dead Aid and Make all drug use legal?? The people behind us started clapping half way through her question in D.A. it was funny as.

Also, I found that were heaps and heaps of really hot people in the Opera House. I wanted an orgy. I actually loved my time in Sydney, we stayed with these super awesome kids in Newtown (dykeity dyke town).

Hahaha what did you think of my question, and his answer?

I agree about that session not being overly inspiring, mostly things I already thought/knew and it was a bit "safe".

That British woman was the WORST. She did exactly the same thing at 'The arts don't deserve a place at this festival' as well. What an annoying idiot.
