Finding job in chem field (1 Viewer)

Well, everyone should know by now finding a job is pain in the ***....

I'm doing honours degree in chemistry now and will be finishing it at the end of this yr... I heard it's really hard to find chem job so I'm going to start searching for it now... any recommendations where I should go etc?? Any help will be appreciated. If I can get an early offer, I'd over the moon.

u should try looking through the unsw careers website.

I have quite a lot of contact with mining companies with my job, and they tell me that they hire chem grads for environmental impact studies and also process roles. I suggest looking at BHP/Rio Tinto websites. For many of them, you can still live in Syd/Melb/Bris.

Thanx for the suggestion. I was freaking out coz ppl say there arent many jobs for chemists. And I was thinking why the hell I'm doing honours then.
