does anyone do fins1613 for their elective? I wasn't able to make it to this weeks lecture, and I was wondering if he emphasised any particular topics, etc?

I'm especially a bit clueless about which financial ratios to look at since there are so many!

Make sure you do the past papers. This subject was so crap when i did it last semester, the lecturers cant even speak properly and they put exams that are WAY harder than anything you see in the book or from examples.

Unless they released it on the web ct (like they failed to do last semester until the day before the exam) heres the June 2006 exam. Some of these questions appeared in my final 1613 exam that i did last semester.

Heh, no i don't have any solutions. I did this paper in the morning on the day of the exam so i never really kept those rough workings.
