3.0 v6 is not able to "easily" keep up with a 3.8 v6, if at all.

Car performance shouldnt really be something to be considered much when buying your first car though, go for something safe, reliable, cheap and good on petrol.

Mitsubishi Magna ('96+) > Everything.

Lighter, better on fuel than falcodore, and with the 3.0 V6 its able to keep on their tails easily too.
Also front wheel drive and shit/.

Because keeping up with falcodores is such an epic achievement :s

A few of my friends have magnas, they're not too bad in terms of power / price / reliability. Has the turning circle of a fucking cruise ship though.

Too expensive on parts. And will have a high number of KMs if your're looking around spending $12G.

not brilliant on power but awesome looking car. drives good in the city, low fuel consumption, roadster design. but yeah not everyone is looking for a car like this.

Yeah i reckon aye.

I only mentioned falcons and commodores because everyone always compaires them to magnas the extra litre capacity isnt needed in general and espacialy on a manga because of the 200-300kg weight diff.

Yes they are front wheel drive (which is hardly the end of the world) but as i said they're better on fuel and lighter.

Good first car, very reliable, safe and if your keen on cars its got some grunt.

Pfff, I couldn't afford a MX5. They're just a favourite car amongst the gay community or something.

Meh, some people are just insecure and need to buy some POS to compensate for something. The MX5 is a great car - especially the newer coupe-cabriolet version.

I SURE DO

It's actually just a theory I've extrapolated since all three male hairdressers I know drive mx5s and are probably gay.
lol ive always referred to mx5s and porsche convertibles as hairdressers cars. its funny cause of the sheer number of hairdressers that have these or similar cars.

If your keen on cars it's shit because it's still fairly heavy and FWD. die.

The V6 manuals smash though, quite rare though. I wouldn't rule it out if I were you, alot of my friends (5 to be precise) own different models of magnas, and the only problems they've had involve aftermarket LSD's - in specific the cusco models shitting themselves.

IN short, magna good.
