Welcome to the forums. One issue you may want to address there is that you have Americanised the word grey/gray. If you're quoting from a source that spells that way it should be fine though.

It's a nice way to start a story. It gives a bit of an indication of what the story's about and also shows the marker that you've done your research.

it doesn't really give any sort of clue as to what the story is about, except that it is situated in Sydney ...
