It occurred to me today that during breaks, I'd need to get something to eat. But where? So many places in the uni to choose from, which ones are actually any good? Which ones are shite?
(i'd expect the latter to tip the former in quantity)

If you want good food expensive then Manning Bar level 2. If you want relatively cheap, quick food then Wentworth ground floor main cafeteria. Those are the only two I ever go to.

-Caffe tra baci @ Manning House offers comfy sofas, excellent roast pumpkin focaccias, passable coffee.. their dark-bottom choc muffins are HEAVEN, but imo, their oj is a tad expensive at $3+;
-BB's @ Wentworth Building provides my daily morning caffeine-dose (it's quick, convenient and very drinkable);
-Sandwiches from Level 2 Wentworth are the shittiest cr@p i've tasted-- i'd rather dish out an extra dollar or two for the ones @ Manning. Rumour has it that lasagne @ Wentworth is also cr@ppy & small.

everyone raves over ralphs...
it's passable, and so far the best i've found, though i can't really bb walking anywhere very far from the education building and manning is usually too crowded.

for foccacias go to the top level of wentworth on the mereweather side
also the fish and chips boxes at food co-op top level wentworth
otherwise go to king st. for thai

Chocolate Milkshakes

Where's a good place on campus to get a good chocolate milkshake, and/or an iced chocolate?

Very let down today when I went to Holme and the cafe thing in there:

"Can I have an iced chocolate please?"
"Nah sorry mate, don't have 'ny ice today."

I didn't know anyone apart from Gloria Jean's and Starbuck's MADE iced chocolates with ice... So I don't know whether to bother to check if they have ice again.

manning is shit and expensive, wentworth is usually subpar - if you have time go to lansdown on corner of parramata and city road - 5 bucks for a steak and you have to buy a drink but is always way way nice - either that or go to broadway food court. im fucking sick of expensive and shit food which is supposedly subsidised. fuck that.
