If your artistic and creative it should be a breeze if not then its a hassle.

Buy some rice paper from asian supermarket and soak it in water for like a minute (cold water).

Meanwhile get all stuffing ready and then put paper on the plater and put little stuffing and then make roll. Then fry it in oil.
YOU DONT FRY RICE PAPER ROLLS.

god. you are getting it wrong.

I'm not particularly picky, but if there's one thing I don't eat, it's coriander. I have no idea why but i can't stand the taste or the smell, and if it's used in any dish I can't eat it.

Other than that I guess I eat pretty much anything... well except for stuff that's too fatty... eg my stepmother likes to cook big bits of lard for dinner, like wtf?
so very true....on both counts

i had laksa at a thai resturant once. they put a fair bit of corriander in it..made it taste like absolute crap!

yeah except the hygiene is usually very poor when you eat out on the streets (im generalising), but for its low prices, its good for snacking

Okay..

You are mistaking it as SPRING rolls... we are talking about SUMMER rolls...

I talked about summer rolls on the previous page:
"^ He doesn't know what he's talking about..
You dont soak the rice paper in cold water. You soak it in hot/boiling water for like 2-4secs, put on a plate.. n basically put whever you want in it.. roll it up n eat it on the spot..

I love Summer Rolls from vietnamese restaurants.."

Yes, there is a difference.. I eat vietnamese food all the time.. fuck I even ate some tonight.. summer rolls too..

Refer to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_roll

Nothing more to say about this spring/summer roll crap.

Didnt they ban side food stalls a few years ago?

But I would try to avoid eating from the places which have half of HK's pollution flooding in.. I dont know if I have the immunity against the crap that might be there.. better safe than sorry.. =]

Smoked salmon, salt & vinegar chips, sushi - mostly just the seaweed, although I'm not a big fan of the rice in them either.

Oh ew.... bitter melon IS foul....

First time I had it was with that black pepper beef + bitter melon dish... I put it on my tongue, my mouth refused to close and it popped back out...
