4Unit isn't that hard if you're willing to work hard. Don't expect to bludge and get decent marks. But overall it's mainly calculus.... everything.. is calculus....

im coming like 6th in my year in maths ext and 7th in maths, and im doing ext 2 next year, and only 2 other people are with me, and 1 of them is coming like 2nd last in maths ext and 14th in maths.

Just do it anyway, you'll regret not taking it. You can always drop.
It's not as hard as people make it out to be, especially if you want to do it..
