These rules about being a dickhead and not complimenting the girl are really fucked up.

Personally if the guy is easy on the eye, I prefer them to be a tiny bit obvious that they're attracted to me than be totally aloof and uninterested.

It tells me how witty they are and when they want something, they go after it, which probably differs from girl to girl, but personally that's two things that already appeal to me, all coming from what could just be a small but sincere flirtation.
