Was it just me, or was that exam significantly harder than past years? I've been doing practice papers from past years (1986-2004) and I thought the questions in this exam were heaps harder than past years...

My general thoughts on the paper are "I wish I did general maths now"

I agree with you, though I only did from 2000-2004 lol. I couldn't do any of the probability questions :'(, it was bad, BAD! So much blank spaces on my booklets :'(!!

I found it to be similar in difficulty.... although it took me longer so maybe it was harder...

The change of base question took me by surprise...

that exam was absolutely fuked. the last questions were insane considering how hard the other questions were and the lack of time u had to spend on it

I thought it was definately a more challenging exam, seemed a lot harder, but i was able to get everything out, so i should still do well.

That was the scariest thing ive ever seen. out of the 19trial papers ive done and 6hsc's ive never seen so many nastly involved questions in one paper. Im so depressed becasue ive NEVER left a single question in maths before and today there were slabs of stuff i couldnt do

Getting into uni is overrated. surely

i agree this paper was very hard... the question varied some easy some never seen in my life!! lookin over the past papers they seemed fairly simple compared 2 this paper... and there were some questions that took ages 2 do... although i finished the exam i had alot of "NOT ATTEMPTED"

1 more maths to go

i thought that paper was not so much hard but tedious.
having to do half a page of work for one or two marks sucked!
i did 93 marks of 120, most of it was correct but compared to the 110-120 that i usually get, it was pretty disapointing.
now ive got to study for ext 1 maths on thursday!!

My thoughts right now:
1. maths sucks
2. I wish I did general.. no wait I WISH I NEVER DID 2UNIT MATHS
3. I didn't get enough answers that were right or looked right for me to pass
4. Maths is gonna bring down my UAI
death to the subject! :chainsaw:

that was a horrible exam and i'm expecting equally horrible results but thank christ maths is over.

and i've learned an important lesson. don't pick any maths courses at uni. just don't do it. even if it seems like a good idea at the time. just don't do it.

that's assuming that exam doesn't annihilate my uai beyond repair of course.

That was hard and i know a lot of others found it hard. Band 6 cut-off will be lower this year imo judging by responses.
