Looking at the past papers from CSSA, I will find it difficult to complete Q7. I will have to manage my time effectively to get it all done.

I destroyed that test! I bet no-one could get the Bees question since

dN/dt = N(200-N) instead of k. It made it much more difficult, and a 4unit integration technique was needed to solve it.

I did it without a 4U method.

Hoping for good results, but unlikely :(.

That test was insanely hard. I left like 15 marks blank. I should pass - but not by much. CSSA exams really shit me for some reason.

Yeah, I thought it would be terrible. and boy was I right.

It's so annoying, in the 3 hour 2U paper I always have plenty of time, but with ext I'm always hard pressed to get it finished. so yeah, i didn't finish.
Hoping 60's. Probs 50's.

I think I'm gonna drop, maths ext chews up so much time, I don't think it's worth it

DONT DROP IT!!!

If your getting 50-60 for that exam your basically garanteed a band 6. Remember to compare yourself to the rest of the state, of whom most would fail this badly.

I hated that exam (Except for Q1 - that was the best...).

I was also suprised to find out that my maths coordinator co-wrote the exam. Brother Domenic... that probably explains why I thought the test was hard... I hate his tests!

4U Math was not required. Might have made it easier though. All you had to do was bring bottom to top, derive then replace with N's.

Test wasn't too bad. Question 7 was horrible though. Hoping for around 65.

weren't you supposed to start with the other expression and then differentiate it? Then substitute appropriately to get the above expression?

for part ii) did anyone else get t = 0.26...? my working seemed correct.

also for that projectile question what did people get for the speed required to get the world record?

Yea t was some small number like that but you had to convert to days.

For v, i think it was between 10-15 from memory.

t = approx. 9-10 days.

=)

It was really difficult, but not impossible.
