It has been extremely de-motivating that the VC week is so far into the semester (like after Week 8 or something?)

I don't have any mid sems this sem

but ive got a class test in oct for deceptive trade practices which is gonna be like a final in semester coz that law option doesnt have a final exam...
n for deceptive ive got a 3500 word major essay due the 1st day of exams :/

What sucks is that i have nothing due straight after VC week. only after
so ill be bludging it :/

i do have heaps of events on during it tho
looking forward to law ball esp

i went to that expo. it was alright. prob very useful if you're an international student wanting to go back to their own country to work cos some employers at the expo only look for international students. plus i was more interested about working in europe. might apply for monash internships.

I didn't get an offer from Deloitte or EY.

I've got a WHK group interview next wednesday, and a couple more should be coming in next week.

I'm doing an Accounting major and a Mobile Computing (IT) sub-major.

gluck with them, im sure u'll get something am kinda surprised u didn't get deloitte or ey you seem to have gun marks lol whenever uve posted in how you went at the end of each sem so you must be pretty bright .

I thought both of my Deloitte and EY interviews were sub-par in services lines that were taking around 2 from 10 interviewed.
Marks and work experience might get you the interview in the first place, but it all comes down to interview performance for vac work positions.

yeah i know that mate , but i figured u'd be a smart bloke hence was kinda surprised u didn't get through, but if they were sub par i guess u were fortunate to not get through and may get a better opp in a mid tier.
